Templates are the 'style' or 'personality' of your website, in other words, how it looks to the world. They make it so easy to change the look and feel of your website quickly. A website can be styled in almost anyway, using images, or the faster loading 'css'.

The Basic web design default templates are made to w3c web standards using HTML and CSS plus a mix of images. The templates are all 'valid' HTML/CSS and pass testing by w3c. The default templates have been tested in modern browsers - Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), Opera 9, Safari 3.1

The 'Basic' 'edit yourself' website, comes with your choice of default templates. You can have your own logo added, or no logo at all. From there, you have many options available for your templates.

Template modifications

If the default template choices don't suit your tastes or requirements, you can request to have one modified. You may wish to change the colours or the background, the colour of the link text or the fonts, even the size of the headings. This work is charged at an hourly rate.

Custom Templates

If you want something completely personalised, you can have a custom template made. This begins with a flat rate and will be quoted based on your requirements.
